memory card can't be formated

This is a problem one of my friend is facing,
He says his memory card can't be formatted and he can't view the contents,
I've tried few solutions via google but it doesn't work,
any help?

Gateway 600YGR Notebook

So I got a Gateway 600YGR notebook yesterday from my old computer teacher to help with college. It doesn't come with a wireless card built in, so I was going to get one at walmart, cause he told me they're only about 20$. I found out that they stopped selling them, so I went to a local PC store and asked them if they had a card that would work with my notebook. They offered me a Linksys Wireless G Notebook adapter, but told me that they didn't know if it would work and that since it was on clearance there wouldn't be an option to return it. Can someone tell me if that card will work with my notebook?

I need help with Windows Live Messenger (MSN) please?

My sister is having trouble logging into MSN messenger, she keeps getting this error , so I suggested she try repairing, and then it didn't work anyway, so I suggested uninstalling then reinstalling, but, trying to uninstall, all we got was 0x80070641 and when I tried to google it and understand it all I got was about not having the windows installer or msiexec.exe file or something... Don'tknow what to do. Anyone can help please?

Last year when there was an accidental account deletion problem on the site i lost my account(about 900 points that were unneeded) ever since then i wasn't online very much.But now that theres a stable DS emulator i figured i rejoin this place since theres plenty of good games and hopefully still a good deal of chatters around here(originally been here since Emuv2)

Whenever I insert one like pen drives or my phone through usb, the pc becomes hopelessly slow, and also generally gives me a blue screen of death a little later.
