Call of Duty 4 is the fourth in the series but is alot different then the previous games, its; more intense, the A.I are alot more witted, the graphics are sharper, more realistic and unlike the other games its set in our time its World War 3 rather then World War 2. Basicly Infinity Ward wanted the players to feel like there the soldier, they wanted you too feel like your playing with your life which they pulled off very nicely. The atmosphere in which Infinite Ward created is mind blowing, i play CoD4 and i do feel as though im in the army or im about to set on a mission to find and destroy something or finding some data which the first mission (excluding training mission) shows you very well.

The graphics is one of many things that make this game what it is, I run this game with a Geforce 8500 GT which allows me to run this game at medium graphics and still it looks amazing the lighting effects in this game looks fantastic.

You might be wondering how does this compare with the other CoD's in terms of gameplay well hardly any different, same controls, same gameplay with a few additions for example you have different weapons like the Javeilin a rocket launcher but you can't launch it in a room, you have to be in an open space. Well to sum all this game up i say its AWESOME this game is high in my top 10 pc game list and i have a feeling its going to stay there for quite a while. I hope your convince by my first review and give me some feedback in what i missed or anything.

Verdict

Gameplay: 10 - Not much has changed sinced CoD3 but thats a good thing.
Graphics: 9 - Brilliant even on medium settings
Sound: 10 - Amazing sound makes you feel like your in the game
Difficulty 10 - You can decide it or take the test for the game to decide
Lasting Appeal 9 - You could play this over and over again and it will feel different.

Overall: 9.6
