Rapture barely survived. A surface-dweller came down almost 10 years ago and struck at the heart and mind of the once-beautiful underwater utopia, plunging it's inhabitants further into the depths of desperation.

First he assassinated the city's founder, Andrew Ryan. Next, he killed Frank Fontaine, the man who controlled the Adam. Then, with a cavalier disregard for the chaos of his actions had triggered, the surface-dweller left - and so did the Little Sisters. That's when things in rapture got really bad. Trapped in a dead man's crumbling dream, the frantic splicers fought savagely over the dwindling Adam supply, killing friends and family to feed an appetite for perfect. Big Daddies continued their lonely patrols with no one to protect... Until she showed up. Now, Big Sister has brought the little ones back to Rapture, and the Adam is flowing again. A forgotten lust for the substance has reignited, and the Little Sisters are it's gatekeepers. You need the precious substance as much as anyone; Adam fuels your plasmids and superhuman strength, but unlike the crazed splicers,m you don't need to attack the young girls for a fix. After all, the little Sisters trust you. You're a Big Daddy. You're family.

What do you guys think? It looks pretty epic. I just wonder if the twist is going to be as bad ass as the first one!

I'm hoping it will top the first, but I'm a little worried about the changes. No Big Daddies? Sure, there's the Big Sister, but supposedly only one. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess. The addition of multiplayer co-op bothers me as well. If that fucks up the single player with an unnecessary companion that I'm gonna need to babysit, I'm gonna be pissed.

So far as I can see, their ARE big daddies. You play the 'first' prototype big daddy, gone rogue. You fight your brother daddies and can either ADOPT or HARVEST little sisters. If you Adopt (Harvesting being same as before.) They follow you, looking for corpses. When you find one they begin harvesting Adam, while you protect them.

You can also combine powers. IE: Cyclone trap then immolate for a fire-nado. And the skills CHANGE rather than just increasing damage, IE: Immolate upgrades and you can create a fireball, upgrade again and it's a flamethrower.

Not only that but you can dual-wield your powers and your weapon, unlike the first game's switching on and off. Allowing you to send a splicer flying with your drill, then burning him with your Immolate plasmid.

Not sure what you mean there.. It felt an awful lot like dual wielding to me, with plasmids on one trigger and guns on the other. Perhaps the PC controls were gimped?

No, in the 360 version (the one I played.) You had to lower your gun to fire your plasmid. In this one it's not the case. You can essentially fire off a plasmid, then shoot almost simultaneously. Instead of waiting for your character to drop his gun, then raise his left-hand.

Also, apparently each time you adopt or harvest a Little Sister. The game calculates the chance that a Big Sister comes after you. When she does you can't hide to well. Your best bet is to pick your battlefield and get ready. It's supposed to be a Desperate, Desperate. fight. Since Big Sisters harvest Adam like their little counterparts, THEY however, fuse this directly into their bloodstream, giving them god-like powers.

I'm not really happy with the milking of the GH franchise, I don't even play GH 3 enough. >.<
